BULLET REVIEW - ANGEL REAPERS

BULLET REVIEW - Angel Reapers Signature Theatre Company
When this horrible play ended last night I felt like I had been incarcerated for 70 minutes and then released by the Innocence Project thanks to a DNA sample.
Amazingly Laura Collins-Hughes of the NY Times loved it and wrote;
"But it’s the twinning of euphoria and anguish that makes “Angel Reapers” quietly glorious."
Huh?
Tortured souls with barely comprehensible, disconnected, back stories trapped in a religious furniture making cult that eventually went out of business. Their demise might have been related to the "intercourse is verboten" rule.
OK there is some interesting, sometimes acrobatic, dancing and thank the lord for, an all too brief, topless sex scene but last night this was my bed time prayer. "God - I nap through so many plays - why not this one?"
